ACCOMMODATION AT THE STOELEN PROJECT IS FREE.
What we offer
The Stoelenproject is a very basic provider for all homeless people. We offer a safe and warm environment with:
- Mattresses to sleep on in an open space
- In the evening a meal
- Sandwiches in the morning
- Coffee and tea
- Possibility to wash
Use of the Stoelen project
Twice a week free admission tickets are issued on the Stoelenproject (Marnixstraat 248): Monday morning between 8 AM and 9 aAM for the nights Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday morning between 8 AM and 9 AM for the nights Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The vouchers (50 per night) are distributed by the coordinators of the Stoelenproject on the basis of necessity to all persons present at the voucher issue. It is not possible to reserve by telephone or by e-mail.
WHEN CAN I GO IN?
If you have a voucher, you can enter from 6 PM (5 PM for women and people over the age of 60). No one will be admitted after 9 PM If you leave the Stoelenproject after arrival, you are no longer allowed back in.
WHEN SHOULD I GO OUT?
The Stoelen project is closed during the day. All visitors must depart the building by 8 AM at the latest.
ARE THERE COSTS FOR MAKING USE OF THE STOELEN PROJECT?
No, the Stoelenproject is free.
WHAT ARE THE HOUSE RULES
OF THE STOELEN PROJECT?
The Stoelenproject is a low-threshold night care. We have some basic rules. Violation of these rules means immediate removal and suspension.
The rules are:
- No drinking of alcohol
- No use of any drugs
- No violence (verbal or otherwise)
- No discrimination, for whatever reason
Waar kan ik terecht voor structurele hulp?
The Stoelenproject is an evening and night care run by volunteers and supported by a few professionals. We do not see ourselves as care providers.
